Come & meet one of
the most influential policy makers of our City.
The Small Business Committee of the NYC Council oversees policies and regulations faced by 220,000 NYC small businesses.
 |
As Chair of New York City Council's Committee on Small Business, Reyna focuses on ways she can advocate for the over 220,000 small businesses across the five boroughs. She understands that they are crucial to New York City's economic rebound, and that the Council's efforts are not only for encouraging new small businesses, but on helping current business owners survive and grow. Reyna's priorities include maintaining industrial and manufacturing space, strengthening the Industrial Business Zones of New York, as well as guiding NYC policies and programs that encourage the |
| creation, retention and growth of small businesses. Reyna supports innovation and high-tech job creation, investing in women or minority owned small businesses, as well asbusiness incubators that facilitate the critical work of entrepreneurs in creating start-up companies. |
This is an opportunity not to be missed. Councilwoman Reyna has been a staunch advocate of the Hunts Point Industrial Zone, of the retention and expansion of the Hunts Point Produce Terminal Market, and in general of regulations and policies that favor the stability and growth for businesses in the South Bronx. We highly recommend that many of you attend this important meeting.
